What an amazing thing it was to be able to share a homemade sweet-treat with my daughter! I never imagined that I'd be able to feed her birthday cake on (or a few hours before) her birthday, when she lives so far away from me, and it feels like a miracle.
I so appreciate the time you took coordinating the pickup and the drop-off with me (lots of texting) and the detours to my apartment and her dorm (extra driving) on your way to California.
She was so excited to get it, and was able to share with friends yesterday. Thanks for helping to spread that joy!
