Seeking occasional housesitting when i'm away. Cozy house near Sundance, with a friendly cat who wants human company, plus food a few times a day, and some plants that need watering. Garden available for harvest by whoever is here if desired, along with comfy indoor space, internet, and a covered outdoor space too. Contact me if you want to get on my list, thanks!

Looking for help with my yard. If you don't have one and want a place to play, I have lots of need and little help.

I would like to co create community space and Natural Spiritual connection around my home.

I have worked a lot with "mentally ill" teens in residential care, as an informal counselor, and have extensive background in nutrition/alternative diets. There are alternatives to drugs when dealing with schizophrenia and other imbalances. See the website and work of Peter, Breggin, such as the book "Your Drug May be Your Problem". (I am not always opposed to drug treatment, just know there are other things to try first.)

    Thank you for the
Crocosmia is a genus of flowering plants in the iris family (Iridaceae), native to South Africa. They’re known for their striking, arching sprays of bright funnel-shaped flowers in shades of red, orange, and yellow that bloom in mid-to-late summer.

    Here are some key points:

🌱 Growth habit: Herbaceous perennials with sword-like, pleated green leaves. They grow from underground corms (like gladiolus).

🌸 Flowers: Appear in succession along arching stems, making them especially graceful in garden borders. Popular varieties include Crocosmia ‘Lucifer’ (fiery red), Crocosmia ‘Emily McKenzie’ (orange with red centers), and Crocosmia ‘George Davison’ (golden yellow).

🌍 Uses: Ornamental in gardens for color and pollinator attraction (especially hummingbirds and butterflies).

☀️ Care: Thrive in full sun with well-drained soil; moderately drought-tolerant once established. Hardy in USDA zones 5–9, though in colder areas they may need mulching or lifting/storing corms over winter.

🌿 Spreading: Can naturalize and spread by corm offsets; in some regions, they can become invasive if not managed.

Would you like me to create a care and propagation guide (step-by-step) for crocosmia, or more of a landscape design guide showing how to use them effectively with other plants?

We have finally cleaned out our closets and have both men's and women's clothing available for a clothing swap or someone who wants to go through a bunch of clothes.

The women's is primarily XL (about 90%) with some large and 2XL.
Shirts, pants and dresses. May be able to talk her out of some shoes.

The men's clothing spans a couple decades and is from size large to 2XL some dress mostly casual pants included.
